About Heather Sherman

Heather Sherman has spent many years in various facets of real estate from relocation to interior design to residential brokerage. This experience affords her unique skills and knowledge to assist clients with every need. 

As a member of the Steven Cohen Team in NYC and a sales associate with Douglas Elliman’s Sag Harbor office, she sells residential homes in both the Hamptons and New York City, with a  primary focus on the stunning residences that comprise Central Park West. 

Heather is very hands-on and attentive and ensures that clients have a complete understanding of the buying or selling process. She will listen to your needs and work hard on your behalf identifying your best options and delivering successful negotiating terms. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Heather was a lifestyle destination consultant in relocation for over 12 years. 

Her role was to remove the burden of self-education and orientation for her clients and make precise community matchups based on their specific lifestyle preferences. Heather simultaneously ran her own interior design business as well. Her keen eye is invaluable in helping clients visualize the potential in a home and suggesting changes that can impact their property’s full potential.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Heather graduated from University at Buffalo with a BA in Communication and Marketing. She additionally holds a Master’s of Education from Adelphi University and taught elementary in Harlem for seven years. Heather resides both in East Hampton and Manhattan, NY. Besides real estate her passions are traveling, reading, long beach walks, attending the theater, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and 10-pound Mini-Poodle Bowie. Heather also enjoys volunteering at God’s Love We Deliver in NYC, and The Retreat in East Hampton which assists domestically abused women with safety and shelter.
