Stefanie Ruch has been active in real estate in New York since 2014, acting as an owners’ representative for her former company and managing personal properties on the Upper West Side. Now a member of The Steven Cohen Team at Douglas Elliman, she brings her seasoned experience, keen attention to detail and depth of vision to her buyers and sellers to optimize their real estate transactions.
Stefanie’s years managing construction projects in New York City and maintaining multiple properties afford her valuable expertise that helps buyers realize their goals, and have realistic expectations when looking for a new home. She enjoys educating clients on the purchase, renovation and sale processes, guiding them with solid information and professional support. She has a unique perspective on New York residency having experience with co-op, condo and townhouse living in multiple neighborhoods throughout Manhattan.
A native New Yorker, Stefanie was born and raised in Manhattan. After graduating from Colgate University with a degree in Art and Art History, she spent 15 years in the advertising industry producing television commercials for an array of pharmaceutical and luxury clients. Subsequently, Stefanie oversaw the development of a 10,000 square foot commercial space for a post-production company, and supervised the gut-renovation of a 7,000 square foot residential property on the Upper West Side. In 2018, she co-founded a modern wellness company, Salthaus, which had a location on the Upper East Side as well.
Married with three children, Stefanie absolutely loves being a mom in NYC and taking advantage of all the city has to offer its inhabitants. She and her family call the vibrant Upper West Side home. Stefanie loves to cook, explore the latest restaurants, and spend time with family and friends. She is a member of New York Women in Film & Television, an active volunteer at Westside Campaign Against Hunger, and serves on the Global Safety Net Committee and Manhattan Women Board of UJA-Federation of New York.
